Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, this piece does not repair what was lost but instead embraces absence as part of its form. A shard is detached, yet still belongs, turning fracture into presence. It is a celebration of human resilience and a reminder that beauty, though often on the outside, is more interesting on the inside.

Technically, the challenge lay in shaping two separate porcelain pieces that fit together with perfect precision, transforming the idea of breakage into an intentional act of creation.
